I want to thank you all for your input and I agree we should avoid the danger of being out in the heat. I have found we have an alternative…..

Field Day can be done from home!

We can still operate from home and have it count towards the club score.
I strongly suggest that everyone stay home and avoid the heat.
You can operate from home.
You must use your call sign.
Do not use the club call sign.

My intentions are to set up  at the W8HHF field day site.
The station will be minimalistic.
Setup will be done on Saturday at 7:30 am. Still cool out.
There will not be a need for anyone to come out.
If you do come out be prepared to be on your own.
The weather is going to be very dangerous so be prepared.
There is a chance for storms.
I want to limit exposure and enable quick disassembly in case of storms.

There will be no meal provided.
There will be bottled water.
The red house is air conditioned so there is relief from the heat.
There is no provision for staying overnight.
I urge you not to setup any additional stations.
